Money going to crunchyroll does not benefit the Japanese studios in Japan whatsoever, you’re only helping to fund horrible streams and a decrease in quality of subtitling products (not just fansubs, but professional subtitles as well) seeing as everyone is focusing more on speed.

Tegami Bachi is an awesome series, and surprisingly CR has on-point translations for the show (unlike a good portion of their translations which seem to consist majorily of guesslations and over-transliterations or imposed meanings).
